Terms of Service

Last updated 23 September 2026

These terms cover your use of the Across app and the website at getacross.app (together, “Across”), made by Zetahertz (“we”, “us”). By using Across you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. They are the product-specific terms that the ZetahertzTerms & Conditions allow for; where the two differ about Across, these apply.

01Your account

You sign in to Across with a Google account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You can delete your Across account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

02Plans and subscriptions

Across is free to use, with limits on some features. Across Plus and Across Pro are paid subscriptions that raise those limits and unlock features such as My Radio. The current price and limits of each plan are shown in the app before you buy.

  • Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play, under Google Play’s terms.
  • They renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel any time in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Deleting your Across account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy.
  • We may change plan prices or limits. Google Play will tell you before a price change applies to an existing subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

03Publisher content

Across shows articles from RSS and Atom feeds published by third parties, including feeds you add yourself. That content belongs to its publishers. We do not write, edit, or endorse it, and we are not responsible for its accuracy. Articles link to their original source.

Only add feeds you are allowed to access. Publishers who want their feed removed from Across can reach us through the contact page.

04AI summaries and audio

Article summaries, My Radio, and Across Daily are generated with AI. They can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and may misstate what the original article says. Check the original before relying on them. We make no promise that generated output is accurate or fit for any purpose.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights using Across;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or resell Across or its content, or get around rate limits, plan limits, or security measures;
  • try to access other people’s accounts or our systems without permission, or disrupt Across;
  • reverse engineer Across, except where the law allows it.

06Your data and ours

Your feeds, views, bookmarks, and other things you set up remain yours, and you can export your feeds as OPML at any time. You let us store and process them only to run Across for you. Across itself — its software, design, and brand — belongs to Zetahertz. We give you a personal, revocable licence to use it for its intended purpose.

07Availability and changes

We work to keep Across reliable, but we may change, suspend, or remove features, and feeds can become unavailable at their source. If we stop offering a paid feature you have subscribed to, we will tell you in advance.

08Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Across is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Zetahertz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Across is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Across in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

09Ending these terms

You can stop using Across at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Across or other users at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue after that will continue.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law says otherwise.

11Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email when a change is significant. If you keep using Across after a change, the new terms apply.
